The team
You will join a small team of communication professionals, collaborating closely with colleagues within your team and across other teams. You will report directly to the Head of Communications and PR, who will support your professional growth and be a trusted sparring partner in your daily work.
Summary of the role:
As the Digital Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for managing all online channels at Oncode Institute from a marketing perspective. You will contribute to the execution and improvement of the marketing and communication plan, specifically by bringing digital expertise to the team. Day-to-day activities will include managing and planning the websites and social media channels of Oncode Institute, as well supporting the development and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns aimed at generating awareness and engagement. As the Digital Marketing Specialist you will also contribute to data analyzing and translating data to marketing and communication impact. You can also be an inspiration for the team on smart use of (AI) tools and management tools.
Key activities include:
- Define digital marketing best practices, including optimal format and content deployment across all of the Oncode Institute (including Oncode Oncology Bridge Fund) digital channels.
- Website (CMS) management, planning and execution, but also add creativity on content and presentation. You work closely together with several external parties to improve and maintain the website.
- Managing social channels: Define an effective approach to increase engagement on all social media platforms.
- Setting up, monitoring and optimizing (paid) campaigns on digital channels.
- Take ownership of reporting and metrics associated with the digital elements of the marketing output (website, social media, SEO, SEA, campaign metrics).
- Mapping stakeholder journeys to guide prospects to marketing qualified leads.
- Handling content on newsletters in instruments like mailchimp and following up on improvements based on data
The ideal candidate has:
- 3+ years practical experience as a digital marketing specialist.
- Experience creating and executing digital marketing campaigns
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices, concepts and tools including marketing automation
- Proven hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Drupal, WordPress)
- Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce, Pardot/Account engagement, Google Analytics and re-targeting, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Skilled in SEO/SEM
- Skilled in data reporting
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
- Ability to capture and leverage emerging digital marketing technologies
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders and business partners while working in cross functional teams.
