Masterclass: recent developments in (single cell) proteomics
-

By Michiel Vermeulen (Radboud University Nijmegen and Netherlands Cancer Institute) and Harmjan Vos (lab Boudewijn Burgering, UMC Utrecht)

By Michiel Vermeulen (Radboud University Nijmegen and Netherlands Cancer Institute) and Harmjan Vos (lab Boudewijn Burgering, UMC Utrecht)

In this masterclass, Michiel Vermeulen, Harmjan Vos and invited speakers will familiarize you with the field of (single cell) mass spectrometry-based proteomics and its applications, including a tour of the UMCU proteomics facility. Recent advances in the field of (single cell) proteomics are providing ample opportunities to decipher the proteome of cells and tissues in a comprehensive manner and at single cell resolution. These technologies can be broadly applied to further our understanding of processes such as protein homeostasis, tumorigenesis, tumor heterogeneity and immune oncology.
