Technology Symposium: from DNA to RNA to proteins: methods to map, measure, manipulate and model
-

Registration is closed!

Research labs at Oncode Institute and across the Netherlands have developed and applied many advanced technologies. Many of the collaborations within and outside of Oncode Institute are centred around sharing these technologies, creating powerful synergies. This symposium aims to showcase the wide diversity of technologies that are developed and/or applied within Oncode Institute and other Dutch research groups, all centred around the Central Dogma of biology: DNA → RNA → protein. This includes methods to map, measure, manipulate and model:

  • DNA sequences
  • Chromatin and gene regulation
  • RNA-related processes
  • mRNA translation
  • Proteome and post-translational modifications

The technologies range from single-cell to whole organisms and tumors, and from cutting-edge new technologies to useful adaptations and widely applicable protocols or assays, including computational approaches. The goal of this symposium is to make Oncode technology widely available and to foster future collaborations both within the institute and with the broader research community.
